ULTRASOUND RENAL WITH DOPPLER OF RENAL ARTERIAS

The Renal Artery Doppler Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to assess the blood flow into and out of the kidneys.

PREPARATION

Patient drinks one bottle of water upon arrival (only if patient is not on dialysis).

There is not other special preparation for this exam.
