HMI Participates in Christian Family Center Health Fair

Dr. Marcos Calderon served as medical director for this highly successful and televised event in 2006, taking place at the Christian Family Center on Dairy Ashford.

Volunteers included Beverly Chapman, Theresa Jefferson, Ana Esquivel, Lynn Pham, Angie Dashtabadie, and Carlos Zelaya from Houston Medical Imaging. Cynthia Martinez, Claudia Garcia, Tiffanie Brashear and Jamal Shiraz represented Dr. Gerardo Bueso. Monica Powell from Dr. Victor Salcedo’s office also participated.

The group administered 400 glucose exams, 450 blood pressure exams and 200 breast exams. Dr. Calderon distributed 30 free Digital Mammogram coupons and 60 discount Digital Mammogram Coupons.

This has become an annual event for HMI volunteers. Plans for next year are already under way.
