HMI now an Aetna Provider

Houston Medical Imaging strives to take care of all of your patients in the most cost-effective way possible. We are happy to announce that, effective June 1, 2008 HMI is contracted with all Aetna plans. We are a designated preferred provider. HMI continues to aggressively negotiate with payors in order to be able to care for as many of your patients as possible.

Upgraded Phone System

In order to handle increasing phone traffic, HMI has upgraded their IP phone system. Beginning on June 3, 2008 two additional full-time operators will be in charge of handling your phone calls. Please be patient during this important transition. Furthermore, let us know if customer service issues need to be addressed.

Featured Innovative Radiology MD

Deborah Ancona-Schultz was raised in Staten Island, New York. She attended Yale University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and attended medical school at NYU in New York, NY. She completed her diagnostic radiolology residency at NYU/ Bellevue Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed two years of Neuroradiology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Schultz has been in private practice for the past eleven years, including the six years with Spencer Radiology. She joined Innovative Radiology in June, 2007 and plans to focus her practice on neuroradiology in the Conroe area. She maintains special interests in pain management and neurodiagnostics but continues to participate in the practice of general diagnostic radiology. Dr. Schultz participates in patient care both at Houston Medical Imaging and Foundation Surgical Hospital.
